First of all, thank you to everyone who purchased a subscription for NEET PG 2024 counselling. It’s not easy for customers to trust a new, never heard of product, let alone paying for it. But you did and we are immensely grateful for your trust and support.
As the title says, neetvantage is now going to be free for everyone. No more subscriptions. Let me address some key points:
Are you going to sell user data to make money?
There is a saying,
“If you are not paying for the product, then you are the product!”
Well, it’s not true. We haven’t and under no circumstances will we ever sell your data including contact details to anyone. And from 2025 onwards, you no longer need to use a phone number to sign up for neetvantage. More about that below.
Will you add state counselling data?
No, this is not in the plans right now. This could change in the future, but as of now, no plans for adding state data.
No more SMS OTP login
One important change we’ve made is revamping the login system. SMS OTP is no longer required for signing up or logging in, and you no longer need to share your phone number with us to use the app. Simply sign in with your existing Google account to get started.
For those who are not familiar with federated login systems, rest assured that you enter your Google username and password in a google.com page and once you authorize neetvantage, Google will only share your 1) email 2) name and 3) public profile image with us. We never see or receive your password. You can revoke the permission for neetvantage to see your details any time you want from your Google Account settings page.
